NetPayGuide is a free paycheck calculator that runs entirely in your browser. We are committed to keeping the tool useful, private, and honest. This page explains exactly what data is collected, why, and how to control it.

What we collect

Calculator inputs are never sent to our servers. When you enter a salary, filing status, state, or any deduction amount, the calculation happens in your browser. The numbers never leave your device. We have no database of paycheck scenarios, no logs of inputs, and no way to associate a calculation with a person.

We do collect standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, referring URL, page requested). These are retained for up to 30 days for security and operational diagnostics, then deleted.

We use Google Analytics (or equivalent privacy-respecting analytics) to count visits and understand which pages people read. We do not enable demographic reports, do not link analytics to advertising identifiers, and do not sell or share analytics data.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies:

Strictly necessary — session continuity and preference storage (e.g. remembering your last-used state).
Analytics — Google Analytics to measure traffic. You can opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Advertising — when ads are enabled (pending AdSense approval), Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites.

Third-party advertising (Google AdSense)

NetPayGuide is supported by display advertising. We use Google AdSense and Google's certified advertising partners. Per Google's policies:

NetPayGuide is intended for adults running payroll calculations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of NetPayGuide after a change constitutes acceptance.
